Kitchen

The main kitchen area excluding the breakfast nook and phone desk measures 13' x 13'. This is the view of the kitchen from the family room doorway. It is located at the center rear of the house and overlooks the back yard. It features a center island with granite counter top.

Turning our gaze to the left we see an exterior access door leading out to the driveway and typically used by your friends and family when they come to visit. This view shows the large, GE Profile wall oven which is both a conventional and convection oven.

Contining panning our view to the right reveals the built-in side-by-side refrigerator-freezer - also GE Profile faced with matching cabinet doors. With ample cabinets and closets, you can choose the best location to store your pantry provisions.

Pictured here is a bonus built-in which can be used as a phone desk or storage for your recipe books, or pantry. Through the left doorway is the formal dining room. Through the doorway on the right is basement access door, a closet, and the half bathroom.

Completing our visual walk through the kitchen, this view shows how the kitchen opens to the family room. This was not the original design of the house, but the sellers did a beautiful job of expanding the area above the garage to create this warm, family space.

Here is a closer look at the kitchen sink area. The double, stainless steel, undermount sinks overlook the back yard and trees, giving you about as serene and bucolic feeling you can get in a city location. A filtered water dispenser, granite backsplash, and recessed lights complete this picture.

Thankfully, the kitchen is situated above the unfinished part of the basement, and so, if you must have a gas cooktop, you can convert the smooth-top electric range pictured here with a gas cooktop! Gas is available on the street and Eversource will gladly hook you up for free if you are willing to convert your oil-fired burner to gas as well.

The thoughtfully laid out kitchen has ample outlets for all your counter top appliances, a convenient paper towel holder, and a built-in space-saver microwave oven.
