Boiler Room

The utility closet houses a Buderus oil-fired boiler and an 80-gallon electric water heater. There is also a tankless water heater which the current owners use depending upon the season. Since the room measures about 12' x 12', there is even space for strorage here, too.

This alternate view of the Utility Closet gives a better sense of the space you have to work with and how light fills the room. The two doors of the far wall lead into the sunroom. On a spring or autumn evening, the two rooms can be thus combined to create an even larger space with great flow for entertaining.

This third view of the room reveals a tray ceiling with wood insert- a nice change from the bland, smooth plaster/wall board ceilings in most houses. Also, if you have your own hutch, it can be placed along this wall.

The built-in hutch features several cabinet doors for easy access, glass shelving, and recessed lighting. On this side of the hutch are light switches, a central vac port, and a thermostat for the heat and air. You pas through the opening on the near right to access the sitting and living rooms. The doorway to the far left leads into the kitchen.
