The attic is long and wide! Pictured here is the portion seen from its doorway. One of the breaker panels is housed here along with the terminal switches for all the skylights' remotes.
Here is a view looking back towards the doorway. This is where the owners hang the hose upstairs for the central vac.
The downstairs area ceilings have all been insulated with fiberglass batts.
A great deal of the attic has been floored to provide easy access to the mechanicals and for storage. Additional flooring can be laid to provide even more usable space. There is ample head room in the center of the attic.
The insulation reads R-19. An example of the extra storage space available if you were to add more insulation and then floor over it.
The central portion of the attic has some excellent usable space that might be finished out. It measures about 24' x 12'.
And one last view of the attic revealing still more space to floor. Imagine, if 3 or 4 feet more of the attic eaves had been floored, the owners could have stored all their boxes away out of the center of the attic and its walkway to make room for another game room... but, they didn't need another game room. Now, if you do...
